Delta Consulting will share how to be successful in the construction industry as an attorney, contractor, consultant, mediator, engineer, and expert witness testifier. Panelists will discuss their experiences; sharing some of the key tips and traps they have faced over their careers.
Managing the quality of any project is dependent on understanding the processes and phases that will be encountered during the life of the venture. RIMKUS will focus on how to educate owners, design professionals, and constructors in a traditional design-bid-build (DBB) project delivery scenario and identify areas to raise the level of quality in the design and construction process.
Case studies will provide relevant, real life examples to support and extend the discussion.
Speaker: Gretchen Druck
Hinckley Allen will focus on how to successfully manage a high stress, fast-paced workplace that threatens to become a 24/7 commitment. Hear our panelists discuss their strategies for dealing with workplace competition, stressed-out colleagues, and demanding clients. We will discuss ways to decide when you need to meet the challenge, and how to know it’s time to push back, set boundaries and take control of your time.
Negotiation Strategies That Work for Women (and Everyone)
Too often women are told we’re bad at negotiations. I think that’s garbage. Research shows the way women are socialized often makes us uniquely equipped to be successful negotiators by using skills like empathy, listening, collaboration.
Rather than a cookie-cutter, one size fits all approach, participants will discover their own negotiation voice and key strategies for negotiation success.
